WRITER | DIRECTOR

A Bafta award-winning writer and director, Chris graduated from Cambridge University with First Class Honours in English Literature. His feature length documentary for Film4 and StudioCanal was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival and subsequently enjoyed a successful theatrical release in over 30 countries worldwide. More recently, he has directed award-winning Immersive & Experiential content for Dreamworks, Disney and Universal. Chris has also been a regular Guest Lecturer on Cinema History at the European Film College in Denmark.

A concept-driven, multi-disciplinary Art Director drawing on a wide range of expertise, having studied film in Paris and London, Sholto’s broad range has enabled him to work across film, television, branding, automotive and immersive animation, with work featuring in cinemas and festivals globally. His Art Direction work can be seen in numerous Hollywood films including Ready Player One and Hunger Games. He has directed work for Star Wars Squadrons, Mercedes Maybach and Nissan, and his clients include Adidas, Universal, Amblin and General Motors.
